Keratosis a condition that has affected many people in the world and it is everyone’s concern to know what it looks like. This is a skin disorder that affects various parts of the body. What does follicular Keratosis look like? This kind of Keratosis is characterized by skin patches that are dark crusty. These patches can contain pus that has a distinct odor.

What does Keratosis senile look like? Keratosis senile is represented by a bump with pointed grayish shape that is flat on the skin. It also looks like a wart but is not cancerous.

What does actinic Keratosis look like? Actinic Keratosis is represented by red rough flat spots that are small that occur on the skin. This type of Keratosis can be seen on the ears, eye, nose, chest and face.

What does Seborrheic Keratosis look like? It is characterized by rough bumps on the skin which sometimes can grow and become thick. They have a waxy look and look like a wart.

With the above symptoms Keratosis can easily be identified and different types of Keratosis differentiated. It is important to identify and differentiate which type of Keratosis is affecting the skin to as to administer the right medication. Keratosis can be treated.
